Posted by: adowns	We are booking a trip with the El Governor, for the last week in Feb. I see they have a heated pool, wondering if its warm enough to swim in this time of year? I know we are having unseasonably warm conditions this winter all across the u.s. but just wondering how warm its actually been getting on the beach. Last year, we visited Destin this same time of the year and it was pretty cold, Im a big beach person, vaca for me is setting up on the beach with a cooler and spending the day out there but it just wasnt really warm enough to do that last year. Our hotel also boasted a heated pool last year in destin but it really didnt seem like it was heated at all, definately too cold for our toddler to swim in. If anyone has some insight i would greatly appreciate it, BTY i have checked out the projected temps for that week on an extended forcast but just thought some locals might be able to give me a better idea of what the beach weather is like this time of year.
